Once upon a time, there were four of the best brothers who ever were. They were handsome, charming, funny, and oh, just everything nice.

I had the opportunity to meet them on a sunny Saturday afternoon, when after knocking on their front door it opened wide with no one appearing to be there. Peeking inside, I saw a shy little man standing in the corner, smiling back at me.

It didn't take long to become friends with these brothers. One by one they told me their full names but then added "but you can call me..." with their nickname. So when I told them my name but they could call me whatever they liked, I was called "Bobby Jo Grandma" from thence forth. It suits me, I think...

Anyhow, I don't know why I'm still writing because you'll just see the cuteness in these faces and you'll want to have four boys too. Who will probably call you Bobby Jo Grandma.

Oh my goodness, this little girly is something special. As soon as I saw her, she cuddled right into my arms!!

Her sweet Mama is a family friend of ours and lived with us for several years. She now lives out of state so it was a real treat to see her and meet her daughter, Little Miss. Alex.

Most three year olds don't take to the concept of smiling on command for pictures, but Alex totally did! She made me laugh so much and I just enjoyed the heck out being with her and Kamila.

Well good heavens, this Christmas session was quite magical. One look at Dominic's beautiful, big eyes and my heart melted...

As we enjoyed a unseasonably quiet morning at Longwood Gardens, it filled my heart to heart to hear how much these photographs meant to Nely. When people like her tell me how long they have dreamed of family pictures like this, it humbles me so to think I have to honor to be the one behind the camera.

Anyhow, it's easy to see how great this family is; Joe is laid back, Nely is fun and animated, and Dominic is indescribably cute...

So, Merry Christmas my new friends. It was my pleasure to meet you on this wonderful December day. And since we have seem to have similar taste in music, maybe you will like this mellow Christmas tune by Sleeping at Last. Enjoy...
