Taken at Lake Mead in Nevada, Summer of 2010.

P.S. I fell into the mud after taking this. Still worth it.

{ Liz Longley + Jesse Ruben // Philadelphia Photographer }
Ok, the secret's out...there's so much I adore about Burlap & Bean Coffee.
Their *fair trade* coffee makes my taste buds dance. The atmosphere is lovely (I know the people there by name.) AND, they host intimate music concerts.
Recently Liz Longley + Jesse Ruben were there, singing their little hearts out.
It was, quite literally, music to my ears. :)
I only took a few photos, as to not disrupt their singing. But I definitely want to make it more of a habit to bring Shiloh (my beloved camera) along to more concerts...
Last night my Dad and I were in Philly to hear Matt Pond pa. We were in the third row, with killer lighting, and yet I had no camera.
FACEPALM.
Oh well, there's always next time...

{ Three Sisters // Philadelphia, PA Portrait Photographer }
Once upon a time, there were three sisters.
Ariana.
Erica.
And Dara.
They were good friends.
We talked & took a stroll around West Chester...
We found this cool wall with a phone. No spare change though...oh drat...
Sisterly love. :)
Maybe one day they'll start a band. Or maybe they just look ultra cool standing in an alley.
I've known the girls since they were little. They used to draw me pictures in their sunday school classes and give me larger than life hugs as only little kids do.
Their family is incredible, and their dad heads up Covenant Mercies, an outreach to orphans, widows, and others in severe affliction in Africa. You should check it out!
Thanks girls for such a wonderful time. You are all so uniquely beautiful!!!

Butterfly Children's Hospice Gallery
When I was in Changsha, China this past summer, I had the opportunity to meet and photograph some very precious treasures...
Butterfly Children's Hospice recently posted the gallery of photos here. :)
I'm so grateful for what they do...
