{ Christopher & Kevin // Chester County, PA Family Photographer }

When after only a few minutes of meeting someone they ask if I would like to hold their little baby, I'm an instant fan.

How sweet and trusting this family is!  I so enjoyed my time with them, and am so glad to have met them!

This family is so incredibly sweet and thoughtful.  They happen to be my neighbors, and I make sure to steal hugs from the boys whenever I see them.

Aside from her kind spirit, Meg is an outstanding cook and could open a successful cake shop if she wanted to.  (Sometimes I get to taste her creations!)  And Young is really a wonderful father to his sons.

As for the boys, well, they are 100% awesome.  Their cuteness levels are off the charts, and they are as sweet as can be...

Matty is about as cute as they come.  He had me laughing with his vocabulary and was sure to point out all of the "motor-bikes" that went by.

He loved exploring and he kept his Mom, Dad, and me on our toes!

But what else is being two all about than running, smiling, and adventuring? Matty would say not much is better...

Meet sweet man Mason!  He stole my heart as soon as I met him, as so many little boys have the ability to do...

I partner with Red Thread Sessions, and this was my first family session with them! What a blessing it was to see this wonderful family together and completed in one another.  I love it.

{ For the Love of Photography ~ Personal Post }

"Find something you're passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it."
- Julia Child

Have you ever grown to love something so much, become so immersed in the pursuit of it, even reaching success in it, to realize you feel a bit disconnected with what stirred your heart in the first place?

The other day I was driving and it dawned it on me that I don't remember the last time I've taken my camera out to shoot just for the love of it.

Ok so I'm on instragram constantly.  But when I upload a photo and other people comment on it, it's so social.  I love being alone somewhere and just shooting in my own little world with my real deal camera that has the capability to do so much more.

My interest in the art of photography is what has platformed for all the amazing people I'm honored to shoot for, but I want to keep the basics a continual part of my life.

So recently before a shoot I had a date with my camera.  No expectations, contracts, pressure, money, performance; just it and I.  And you know what?  I fell in love all over again.
