I had butterflies in my stomach for days.
Hundreds of people were praying and waiting for news of Ryan + Katie's return from the Democratic Republic of the Congo with their two newly adopted daughters, Scarlett + Ashlynn.
Miracle upon miracle came through and on December 27th 2012 the girls touched US soil, making Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, brothers, friends, and anyone else walking by us in the airport the happiest people on earth.
Seeing this family united together at long last was one of the most beautiful things I've ever documented with my camera.
So dear ones, I wish you every blessing now and always. Your story is beautiful and I'm sure will continue to touch lives...
