Do you believe in fairy tales?
My friend Elizabeth grew up with Andrew. As years passed, their hearts were knit together. There were probably picnics under old oak trees involved, I don't know, but somehow love for one another found its way deep into their hearts.
He finally asked her to be his, and this past fall they married. I don't call myself a wedding photographer, but somehow they talked in to photographing their wedding...It was absolutely exquisite and magical in every way. Just like them.
Well Andrew, Elizabeth, and their son Joseph drove from New Jersey to Valley Forge Park here in PA so I could spend some more time documenting their family in a more intimate setting.
It was a perfect day, and I left feeling absolutely refreshed from our time together. What a blessing they are...all together, forever.
I love sun flare. It's kind of my favorite thing ever.
Joseph loves soccer...
And playing with his Dad...
There may or may not have been a George Washington look-a-like sighting right after these were taken...
Joseph... :)
There was this amazing little spot with fantastic light peeking thru so I asked Elizabeth to stand there. I was snapping away and was like, "Wow, you are beyond beautiful!!" Andrew quickly agreed...
I love those two together. I love their story. But I love the three of them together even more. ;)
The many sides of Joseph...
I said to him, "Joseph, can you sit here for a second? I want to get a couple last shots of just you."
This is what he gave me...
It was kind of awesome.
I love you guys so much, and you are so close to my heart. Thanks for this opportunity to spend time with you...Best wishes for all that's ahead this year!!
