{ The Varnell Family, all 15 of them! }

In Southern California there lives a family with very big hearts. They have adopted more than half of their 13 children, and are still open to welcoming more into their home. Talk about compassion, and talk about JOY! :D

I met their oldest daughter through Bring Me Hope, an orphan outreach organization that runs summer camps for orphans in China. And I met Lynette (the Mom of 13) at a Bible Study a few years ago. Little did I know that the pair were mother and daughter.

I had the opportunity to do a session for their family life when I was out on the West Coast. It was so much fun spending time together and laughing as we tried to get the kids interested in the camera. What a memory! :)

Winderland

The East Coast has been enchanted into a winter wonderland these past few weeks. Snow has been everywhere, and hot chocolate and cozy fires have been warmly embaced by all. And when I'm not helping shovel the driveway or throwing snowballs at unspsecting family members or neighbors, I like to take pictures...

Moments

I soared over to Cali again. Had quite the agenda this trip. We went to Mexico (see previous post), helped with a friend's wedding, planned for this year's ministry in China, enjoyed time with friends visiting from China, did a shoot for a family of 15 (I will post that soon)...the list goes on. Here are just a few little snapshots I took...mostly while just watching and waiting inbetween the fast-paced schedule... :)
